A fairly major job involving the addition of an additional storey to a nursing home in Taunton. A large amount of scaffolding was of course required and once in place we quite literally raised the roof.
New floors and rooms were constructed underneath and we reused the original roof joists which were in perfect condition. Not a job with a huge visual impact, but an engineering challenge that went exactly to plan, allowing the business to continue to operate as normal.
